A seismic interior flush expansion joint cover system for walls, floors, and ceilings, Wabo^®SeisMaxPlus blends its seismic functional features into an aesthetically pleasing “No-Bump” system for optimal continuity of aesthetic. The system stays flush during thermal movement and operational during seismic movement. But unlike other joints that deform when seismic motion exceeds their capabilities. SeisMaxPlus will rotationally displace the slide plate during severe seismic movement, providing protection for the surrounding interior surfaces.

SeisMaxPlus for walls and ceilings (NBW) sits flush with the finished wall/ceiling surface for limited interruption of the desired aesthetic. The recessed inlay allows for multiple wall surface types to be integrated into the expansion joint cover. Elastomeric seals on either side of the system allow for thermal movement without buckling or bulging. Specify Emshield® WFR for the added life safety assurance of built-in UL 2079 fire rating. SeisMaxPlus for floors (NBS) sits flush with the finished flooring level for optimal trafficability. The recessed inlay allows for installation of rigid flooring surfaces up to 1/4″ thick and helps blend the coverplate into the finished flooring. Elastomeric seals on either side of the system allow for thermal movement without buckling or bulging. Ideally suited for locations where evacuation egress in seismic situations is desired due to the rotational displacement of the plate during these events.
