A seismic floor expansion joint cover, Wabo^®SeismicPan (SPJ) is a pan style floor system with minimal interruption of the tile, terrazzo, carpet, concrete or other deck or flooring material. The pan is infilled with the finished flooring so the expansion joint blends into the interior/exterior aesthetic.

The flush installed design allows rolling and foot traffic to easily traverse the expansion joint without the hazard of tripping and is ADA compliant.

SeismicPan is capable of accommodating parallel lateral shear and multi-directional seismic movement including vertical displacement. The system stays flush during thermal movement and rises upward during a seismic event allowing for full movement within the structural joint opening and safely allowing occupants to evacuate during an earthquake.

It’s ideal for use with natural stone pavers and slabs in atriums, courtyards and walkways as well as with most traditional flooring materials including tile, terrazzo, carpet, hardwood, vinyl, etc.
